Vianta ("the app", "we", "us") is a local file-transfer and device-companion app for macOS and Android. This policy explains what information the app handles and how. Vianta is built to be private by design: it works directly between your own devices over your local network and does not run any servers of our own.
We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to us or to any third party. Vianta has no user accounts, no sign-in, and no analytics or advertising SDKs. We have no servers that receive your content.
When you pair your Mac and Android device, the following is sent directly between those two devices over your local Wi-Fi network, end to end, and is never routed through us:
This information is held only on your own devices. Received files are stored locally (e.g. your Downloads folder). You can delete them at any time.
Depending on the features you use, the app may request: local network access (to find and connect to your paired device), notification access on Android (to mirror notifications), and photo/media access on Android (to send screenshots and files you choose). These permissions are used only for the feature described and only on your device. You can revoke them in your system settings at any time.
Vianta Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see or receive your payment details. Any data related to your purchase is handled under Apple's and Google's respective privacy policies.
Vianta is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, as it collects no personal information at all.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
